Cartus Corporation, headquartered in Danbury, has joined TMA World to help create the online cultural resource tool Country Navigator, available to Cartus’ clients and employees worldwide.

"Talent management is top of mind for most organizations today," said Mike Brannan, senior vice president of Cartus’ Global Performance Solutions group. "Increasingly, that means driving global competency throughout their workforce, not just for employees on long-term global assignments, but also for those traveling on short-term business projects or working on virtual teams.”

Cartus, part of Realogy Corporation, is a provider of global mobility management and work force development solutions.

Country Navigator is a source for country and business skills information, a cultural profiling tool, and also has user networking areas.

According to Brannan, the blended training of the two company’s new project, offers essentially the best of both worlds.

"There is no ‘one size fits all’ solution to meet the needs of global work forces,” said Brannan of the high-tech service.

According to Brannan, the addition of Country Navigator enhances Cartus’ existing suite of cultural, language and international management training offerings that support global organizations’ efforts to work more effectively across cultures.

“These employees are under great pressure to generate successful business outcomes in short periods of time,” said Brannan. “Too often, they are hampered by a lack of understanding of local business practices, cultural nuances, or meeting protocol."

TMA World is a global training and talent development solution company.

According to Brannan, the Cartus and TMA alliance responds to needs by leveraging a learning portal that combines the features of the original Country Navigator with Cartus’ training, consulting, and performance support solutions.

"This new capability truly responds to the needs of organizations and their global work forces today," said Christopher Crosby, founder and CEO of TMA World. "The combination of high-performance technology and customized training provides a comprehensive, integrated approach for organizations and their employees working globally."
